Shipping and Delivery

Leela Lane offers free Standard shipping ( 3 to 5 business days) to all apparel orders within Australia. Need it sooner, or want extra security on delivery? Choose from Standard, Standard With Signature, Express, or Express With Signature at checkout — current rates and delivery timeframes are shown there.

Ready-to-Ship items dispatch within 48 hours; Made-to-Order items dispatch per the timeline on the product page — this applies regardless of which shipping speed you choose. All shipping is managed by trusted partners including DHL, FedEx, Aramax and Australia Post and includes a tracking number. Where signature isn't selected, parcels may be left in a safe place if no one's home (Safe Drop).

Made-to-Order Dresses

Made-to-order items can take up to 4 to 6 weeks in production and dispatch. All garments are carefully designed, styled and stitched by our designers and their artisans in India.

Ready to Ship Dresses

Our Ready to Ship collection features dresses that are in stock and ready to dispatch quickly. Look for the Ready to Ship tag on product and collection pages, and check the size selector — sizes marked "Ships in 48hrs" will dispatch within 48 hours. Please note, we carry limited sizes and styles, so availability may vary by size.

Jewellery

At Leela Lane, we take pride in the craftsmanship of our designer collections. To ensure your pieces arrive in pristine condition, all orders are handled with the utmost care.

• Secure Handling: All orders are shipped with reputed partners like Australia Post.
• Signature Required: Because our items are delicate and high-value, we recommend choosing Signature on Delivery at checkout. This ensures your purchase is handed directly to you and remains secure.
• Processing: Jewellery orders are dispatched within 2 business days from our Sydney boutique.
  
• Availability: Jewellery is currently available for Australian shipping only and is excluded from international orders.

Customs & Duty Fees (Australia)

All customs and duty fees are the customer's responsibility.

• Orders under AUD $1,000: Generally not subject to customs duties.
• Orders over AUD $1,000: May incur import duties and clearance fees, which must be paid by the customer before customs releases the order.

Some shipments may be sent on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis, meaning duties and taxes will be collected by the shipping provider upon delivery. Please contact Australian Border Force or your local customs office for more information.

Note: the above thresholds are Australia-specific. US customs and duty terms are still being worked out and aren't reflected here yet — don't assume the AUD $1,000 threshold carries over, as US import rules are separate and have their own thresholds.

International Orders

We proudly offer worldwide shipping. Each order is carefully packaged and dispatched with love, ensuring your dress arrives in perfect condition. Jewellery is excluded from international shipping and is currently available for delivery within Australia only.

• New Zealand: Standard Free shipping on all apparel orders.
• Singapore & United States: Standard and Express shipping are available at flat rates, charged at checkout.
• All other destinations: Shipping is calculated on the weight, size and shipping address of your order. Please contact us for a quote.

All customs and duty fees remain the customer's responsibility to pay.
